Continuous Community Employment
CIS is committed to supporting people in the community, helping them maintain their current employment, and when they are ready to move on, assisting them in finding a new job.

Over 50% of the people we serve work in “non-traditional” supported employment jobs,
(i.e. not in custodial and food service positions.) Now don’t get us wrong – we don’t have any problem with
food service and custodial jobs if that is the kind of job a person wants. We find however, that all too
often those are the only jobs people with developmental disabilities get. We are proud of our record of
finding people employment that they truly desire.
